Radiography
INTRA-ORAL DIGITAL X-RAYS:
We use digital x-rays in most cases to minimize dosages and offer low dose digital x-ray OPGs to visualize the whole mouth in one go, especially useful to plan wisdom tooth extraction, plan implants and diagnose pathology.
CT Scanner
A CT (computed tomography) scan is a non-invasive medical device that takes multiple images of the inside of your body, and in this case, your mouth, allowing your dentist to make an accurate determination of the dental issues you face.
Intra Oral Camera
Intraoral cameras are cameras used by dentists or doctors to show a patient the interior of their mouth, as an alternative to using a mirror. Intraoral photographs are an important addition to patient records (charting, radiographs, study models). They provide a static, in-depth look at the patient’s dentition that is easily reviewed and compared with the patient’s other records.
Photography
Throughout your treatments at the practice the dentist may take photos. Patient before/after photos are powerful images that can motivate and excite patients to pursue a treatment plan, while showcasing your particular skill set. Taking photos will also show treatment progress/achievement. The dentist will always ask for your consent before any photography takes place.
