Dr. Ashik Patel, originally from Bolton, Lancashire, graduated from Guy’s Hospital, London, in 1989. Together with his wife, Dr. Neela Patel, he founded The Bush Dental Clinic in 1992. In 2003, they relocated the clinic to its current location—a purpose-built, state-of-the-art dental practice. Dr. Patel personally project-managed the design and construction, ensuring it met the highest standards of modern dentistry.

A full member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD) and the British Dental Association (BDA), Dr. Patel has been an active member of the Local Dental Committee (LDC) since 1992. In the past, he has also served as a Vocational Trainee (VT) trainer, mentoring aspiring dentists.

Dr. Patel is deeply committed to delivering quality and excellence in dentistry, with a special focus on cosmetic dentistry, prosthetics, restorative aspects of implantology, and full-mouth reconstruction. He particularly enjoys treating elderly patients with neglected oral health, providing transformative full-mouth rehabilitation that restores function and confidence.

Dr. Patel and his wife have two sons. Vishan, who graduated in Dentistry from Bristol University, has been a valued member of The Bush Dental Clinic for five years. His wife, Harpreet Johal, has also joined the practice and has been working there for the past two years. Vinai, Dr. Patel’s younger son, graduated from the London School of Economics with a First-Class degree and now works in the City.

Outside of dentistry, the Patel family enjoys travelling, skiing, and passionately supporting Liverpool Football Club.
